Band:
Syco Twin
About Me:
Syco Twin is the brainchild of Charles Lolmaugh created on December of 2007. Charles is a guitarist, songwriter, and producer from Tucson, Arizona. While interviewing drummers and bass players James Edwards was introduced and later auditioned into the Band. James has played in the local music scene since the 80s and is currently the drummer for the 80s Cover Band “Vinyl Scream”. James hit it off with Syco Twin right away. We looked at many Bass Players but none seemed to fit. Then there was Rob Curcio. Formerly from New York, Rob has played with long-time Tucson local artist “”Leana Savage”. Rob fit our style perfectly and soon after joined the Syco Twin fold.

After many months of rehearsing and learning the material, Syco Twin was ready to start auditioning vocalists. After many interviews and auditions with no success in sight Charles asked a friend that he had met two years earlier. That vocalist was Rick Mythiasian of the band “Steel Prophet”. Charles and Rick had already been working in the studio writing and recording what would be Syco Twins debut CD. In 2008 Rick had time in his schedule and he joined the Band. Syco Twin was now complete.

With Rick Mythiasians soaring vocals, Charles’s blazing leads and hook driven riffs backed by a hard infectious groove by Rob and James, Syco Twin is one of the best original power Rock Bands to come out of the Tucson area in a long time. Their high-energy shows and hook driven songs have won audiences over. Syco Twin style ranges from heavy rock riffs to power ballads of the 80s with a touch of Blues Rock.

The Bands’ new CD is now available to the masses and we are ready to open up a syco party in your town. You don’t want to miss what is Tucson’s best original power rock band to come out of Tucson in a long time.
